It is a neutral and independent international organization supporting peace and security in the Great Lakes region of Africa.
A forum for exchange and openness to different categories of people and experts in various fields, interacting in a spirit of tolerance and intellectual rigor.

Think Tank Isooko is not a political organization seeking power.
Think Tank Isooko is not an organization or association that promotes or defends a particular cause.

Rather, it’s an organization that prides itself on its neutrality, independence and rigor in analyzing the problems that lie at the root of insecurity in Africa’s Great Lakes region, and in devising possible solutions.

Through its research and analysis, Think Tank Isooko presents itself as a support organization for political parties, civil society and governmental and international decision-makers.

To become a leading strategic think-tank in the search for solutions to socio-economic and security problems in the Great Lakes region of Africa.

Stimulate and encourage inclusive democratic values establishing and respecting fundamental rights and human freedoms, the preservation of peace and security in the Great Lakes region of Africa.

OUR GOALS

Isooko Think Tank Organization continues

the following objectives:

  • Contribute to the development of stable modes of governance in the countries of the Great Lakes region of Africa;
  • Contribute to the sustainability of the political institutions in place;
  • Actively participate in educating the public about national, regional and international political dynamics;
  • Strengthen the establishment of a state governed by the rule of law, guaranteeing the protection of all and promoting the peaceful cohabitation of all components of society;
  • Encourage public and private players to adopt their own national, sub-regional and international economic strategies.

OUR ACTIVITIES

In order to achieve the mission that the members of Think Tank Isooko have set themselves, the Organization proposes to deploy activities that can take different forms.
These include

  • Create a non-partisan framework for exchanges between experts and decision-makers in the public and private sectors;
  • Designing and running international conferences
  • To analyze objectively and proactively public policies for better living together in the countries of Africa’s Great Lakes region;
  • Implement protocols and procedures for evaluating public policies, combining internal and external validation to guarantee a high standard of research and publications;
  • Developing models for good-neighbor policies in the countries of Africa’s Great Lakes region ;
  • Organize meetings with government decision-makers and local and international public and private institutions;
  • Forecast major trends in international politics and the global economy to inform the political and economic decisions of governments in Africa’s Great Lakes region.
